How do I calculate square meters?

Take the area for example a square or rectangle you would multiply the length by the width of the area to get your total m2. (20m Long x 10m wide = 200m2)

For odd shaped gardens it is easier to separate the areas into more manageable portions. See example below:

How do I prepare the area for instant lawn sods?

1. Remove any existing grass/ plants/ weeds

2. Remove any stones and debris

3. Spread good quality topsoil/ compost or old manure (ensure the manure is mature and not fresh manure)

4. Spread a good lawn fertilizer and incorporate it in to the top 15cm of soil, water in the fertilizer.

5. Lightly water the area before laying the instant lawn

6. Lay the turf sods and roll the sods to ensure contact with the soil below.

7. Lightly water daily for 2 weeks to ensure the turf sods settle and take root.

How often should I feed my lawn? What Fertilizer/ compost should I use?

If you want to keep your lawn looking healthy and beautiful all year round we recommend feeding your lawn 2 to 3 time a year with a good lawn fertilizer or compost (worm castings is also a good option)

Feed your lawn:

1. (April/ May) Preparing for the winter months

2. (August)  End of winter

3. (November/ December) Start of the rains

*Always remember to water in your fertilizer or compost after application and follow the instructions on the packaging to avoid damaging your lawn.*
